A new name on the Paris couture scene, Bahareh Ardakani is a mathematician and engineer by training, which generally means that when she decides to delve into something - whether it’s setting up a couture atelier from scratch or getting into the finer points of couture techniques - she’ll approach it like a problem solver.

Founded in Stockholm, the maison debuted in Paris in 2022, establishing its couture atelier in Paris shortly thereafter. In 2024, ArdAzAei was invited by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) to join the Official Haute Couture Calendar as a guest member.

With a diverse academic background spanning engineering, natural sciences, and gemology, Bahareh has pursued a carefully constructed path that blends cultural heritage, French savoir-faire, and innovation. Her upbringing fused Scandinavian modernism with deep roots in Persian culture - where poetry and mathematics intertwine with nature’s enigmatic facets.
