Paris gave us the opportunity to experience the season from every angle, from the runway to private appointments and time spent closely viewing the collections with the designers themselves.

What we always find most valuable is the contrast between seeing a look appear on the runway and then understanding it in person. On the catwalk, you feel the mood, movement and intention of a collection. In the showroom, the focus shifts to the details: construction, fabric, finish, fit and the possibilities for personalisation.

This season felt particularly strong for sculptural silhouettes, considered embellishment and a more modern expression of femininity. The most memorable gowns were not simply dramatic, but precise, beautifully made and able to hold their own without overwhelming the woman wearing them.

On a more personal note, Paris is always intense, but it is also where many of the most meaningful conversations happen. Some of our favourite moments were the quieter ones between appointments: discussing a gown with its designer, seeing a detail we had missed in photographs, or immediately thinking of a particular client when a look appeared.

We returned to London feeling inspired, with new collections to share and an even clearer sense of the pieces we believe are truly worth bringing to our clients.
